Are we nearly there yet?
After technical issues plane arrived 65 minutes after it was supposed to take off. Further one hour delay due to incoming passenger needing urgent medical attention before we could board.
The usual efficiency of the rail network disrupted by engineering works. (Sounds a bit familiar). Instead of a four hour journey involving three changes and a bus replacement service, we have opted for Chamexpress (Two hours direct) at 22 euros. Booked in advance with easyjet would have been 5 euros. Lesson learnt...
